CQJP-May block
so for may,
I haven't quite gotten cretin stitch out of my system
I found lots more to do with this stitch so I went ahead and did more
its useful for holding down ribbon or rick-rack
entertaining big and little beads
or sequins
the occasional flying hand full of lilly of the valley
beautiful block. I used cretan on the block I am working on now. I like it too. What templates do you use? My fabrics are darker bolder colors and I'm having a bit a of an issue with marking. It's all a learning process at this point. Your stitches and embellishments are perfection. xx, Carol
Wow, you're all caught up. Wish I could say the same on my projects. I'm behind again on Valerie's FB stitches. I like your ideas with the cretan stitches - it is such a useful stitch. And I really like the aqua accents in the block.
