Well fuck How do you hand sew something, and not notice you are off by three blocks? The upper right hand portion of the quilt should be a straight line and the tumbling blocks should be roundish I should have seen that BEFORE I sewed it together-.-
time to pivot So I made a pear to console myself She is made with silk and velvet scraps in brown and orange sewn with silk ribbon flowers and glass beads She was a quick and easy palette cleanser
Now on to making the three blocks I need to make the tumbling quilt come out right Why do I still do this to myself?
I do not enjoy time with ol'Jack At least it's only three blocks Then I have to decide what to do about the back and the binding I'm thinking just a blind hem for that but the back needs to have some heft to it to support all the beading and embroidery
