well here's my contribution for better or worse to the hearts and hands for sendai quilt project. the cherry blossom tree is my favorite part.The butterflies are symbols of the soul and hope for the future.
I have been embroidering for as long as I can remember and have always had a fascination with history, clothing and textiles I am the empty nested Mother of three lovely, fun, crazymaking children. Gardner, mad hobbyist, Self-employed crazy quilter, rogue beader and at times just plain crazy!

Hearts and Hands For Sendai block is finished!

I love the tree too! Great use of those spangles(or whatever they're called) The block is pretty and will make a great addition to the project.
