I have made a few of these little boxes over the holidays and everyone who sees them loves them.
I am wondering if it would be a good idea for me to open an ESTY shop, most of what I do is small bits and pieces.
like the tree box it's 2.5"x4.5"x3"high is cloth covered and has a green satin cushioned interior
but i don't know if there is a market out there for my little boxes.
I have discovered I enjoy making these little boxes they are relatively easy and depending on the box size fairly quick to finish.
See i even made myself a label!
these two are the small ones.
the yellow one is just a little longer measuring 3.5'x5..5"x3.5 high, also cloth covered but no cushion inside.
I also finished "Whatever a moon has meant " for the BJP but it's spot doesn't come up untill june. looks like I need to get going on the ones I have been putting off.
tho the january piece is done and so is aprils i need to finish "wherever you go" for february and come up with a decent idea for "whatever is done by only me is your doing my darling" for march.
so to ESTY or not to ESTY?
I've gotta fund this fabric/bead/ribbon/lace addiction somehow!

at my DBF' aunt and uncles house the first thing you are greeted by after dorothy and deloss of course is jack.
then there is the family
followed by copious amounts of food
and lots of other fun stuff to do
and playing with jack
going for walks in the woods
playing computer games
more food
and throwing the ball for jack
my son on his computer
my DD#1 throwing the ball for jack off the back
deck for jack
eating, again
playing ball with jack
our lovely hostess Dorothy
playing on the computer....still
and playing ball with jack,
hmmm i'm beginning to see a pattern here...
and eating some more
and playing ball with jack
is there any food left?!
and playing
ball
with

over christmas we went out to chicago to spend time with my children and Adam's family in Indiana while we were there
we visited a few places. one of which was the dusenburg museum in Auburn In. car-gasm!
Here we have my DD#2 in pride of place
a 1925 cord
a racing version of the 1908 cord. get a load of those colors!
a 1967 shellby cobra ymm!
a 1901 auburn touring car ,
it's more fashionable sister the roadster
and a 1902 version with a real trunk!
the rolls royce silver ghost,
we also went on the toboggan ride at Pokagon state park in Indiana
waiting for the toboggan
that's where we are going eventually.
trying to get a picture of #1 daughter is proving difficult.
#2 daughter is a camera hog however!
still no pic of #2
there she is! and look a smile!
the ride is fast!
you can fit 4 to a toboggan and they really stuff you on!
we went faster!
then back to Dorothy's house for more food and family.
and to play with the dogs,
if you don't give me the stick I can't throw it!
ME too?
