I have been embroidering for as long as I can remember and have always had a fascination with history, clothing and textiles

more sketchbook art
I am in a sharing mood this morning ,
and so I thought I would share with you some more of my doodles.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice message. What a talent you have! Sketching out beforehand is such a good idea as it lets you plan for lace and braid so you can tuck them under a seam. The block you sketched looks quite difficult to put together with all the curved seams. I love the shapes on the page with the big daisy. Keep cozy, it looks so cold in Chicago, similar to what we have here in Toronto.
I love your sketchings of the CQ stitches. I admire anyone who can work desins out on paper first. Very pretty
